Id use the blower. Id have to say dust is the least of your worries if its filling up with leaves and other debris, You be better off with a water hose , laundry detergant and a squeeqe every so often.

I have a Milwaukee M18 vacuum I bought because I was tired of dragging the shop vacuum out for small jobs. It works well for those things, but it's not as convenient as a stick vac would be. You have to carry it around like a suitcase in one hand and use the hose with the other. I got the big M18 one, so it's a little on the heavy side. It also doesn't come with extensions like shop vacs do so that would be an additional charge.

I've had good results using a shop vac for fine dust and debris, but for larger cleanups, I usually start by removing the bulky clutter first and then vacuum what's left behind.

One thing I've noticed is that regular cleanouts make garage maintenance much easier. When old boxes, scrap materials, and unused items start piling up, even the best vacuum seems like a temporary solution.

Curious how often everyone does a full garage cleanout versus just routine cleaning.

My usual "whole garage cleanout" is: host a gathering; panic a few days before and do a deep clean in the garage so we have space; repeat several years later.
