This little guy is about three years old. Purchased it for myself (not shop use!). Still looks BRAND NEW! Works 100% Very nice scanner. I'm looking to get $77.50 SHIPPED and this would be Priority, Insured. I'm kinda firm on this price since the lowest I could fin it for was $100. It's still in excellent shape due to the fact it was ALWAYS kept in the pouch located behind the driver's seat in my car.
A little info on it:
•Compatible with all 1996 and newer vehicles (including the new CAN protocol)
•Provides trouble code data telling you why the "Check Engine Light" is on
•Erases trouble code turning off the "Check Engine Light"
•View freeze frame data
•Code look up through internal library of definitions
•No vehicle manual required, trouble code data displayed on screen
Only thing that I can't seem find is the cd-rom that lists the dtc descriptions to load onto your computer (I don't really see all the fuss in it anyhow since it recognizes most any code, except ******** encrypted manufacter-specific stuff like european networks). Would be a great home use code reader to store in your most used vehicle like I did. that way, if light ever comes on...scan it and see what it is to see if you're safe to drive it somewhere or park it.
