Cracks and Racedeck

I have a approx 50 year old concrete floor that has a large crack down the center. At the crack, the concrete has dropped about 1/4" for about 3' of the length of the crack.

In a perfect world, I would be tearing the floor out and redoing it, but I don't see that happening. I'd like to use the racedeck starting this winter... I have some "issues" with my feet do to some old injuries and I'm thinking the race deck will be easier on me both cushioning and insulating from the cold.

I've got a number of projects that need to be done before the cold weather starts (soon) and there really is no time to do much with the floor now.

So... will the race deck be able to be put over this crack or do I have to try to level it out? Could I use it with the crack for this winter and level it out this coming spring?

RaceDeck should be handle your issue just fine. Because RaceDeck is hinged ( inter-locked) it will follow the contour of the flooring, the tiles will not disengage . :)
