Gentlemen
I just acquired an old Craftsman 130-23130 drill press at an estate sale. In looking online mine appears to have 3rd pully in the center as a speed reducer. Does anyone have any information on this ? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yes, there is a lot of info here for both the pulley and your drill press. Search for MSA (Multi Speed Attachment). There is also a scan of the owners manual on www.VintageMachinery.org.

Yeah. IMO, someone really uck-fup'd the Craftsman publications organization on VM. It's now harder to find things. The Multi Speed Attachment 9-2338 and many other things were moved from Drill Presses where it should be to Accessories.
