craftsman master allen/torx set 39.99

its a good deal from the retail price, but not sure how good of a deal because of made in china. looked at them in store today for 49 bucks. of course, online is ALWAYS cheaper.

This set regularly drops to this price. Would be great, but reports of the tips being soft and sometimes pressed in off center, further decrease the value. I am not against Chinese tools, altogether, but I am against **** Chinese tools, and these are that.

Thanks for posting, though, I would rather read repeat deals, rather than no one post them at all.

well, ive got a few sets of great neck and some harbor freight ones in allen and torx. i got them in trades over the years with different boxs and such. how do the sears stack up?

still have an old lisle set that i bought years ago to do a rear brake job. these are the worst torx bits ever made. surely the craftsman ones are better.

Could not find an old usa set in two hardwarestores I checked so I passed on it.

mine are from mid 90's too. id say better metal than the new junk.
