Hey guys -

I just stumbled across this:

A 6 amp corded recip saw for $30. Good price for a decent saw. The adjustable shoe would be handy, wish mine had one. The saw does not appear to come with a case. I've owned my 6 amp CM recip for about 15 years and it has never let me down.

...and yes, I realize a cordless model would be more convenient for stealing catalytic converters.

I bought this last Christmas time for the same price.. save you're money. I bought one for me and one for my dad. on mine the blades fly out when you put pressure (minimal pressure) downwards. I wouldn't buy this again. I couldn't cut 3/4 PVC pipe without the blade flying out took 5 minutes to cut one piece of pvc

I needed a little sawzall to cut out some shocks, bought this model, and it has performed fine for me. My blades never fall out...maybe riggs isn't getting them all the way into the locking collar? I have used some long blades with a lot of downward pressure to cut metal shocks in half.

I have the same tool at the same price. I think I got it about 3-4 years ago. Works for me fine. Would have liked it to have more power. Blade quality makes a difference. I dont have the blade falling out problem.
