Weird, I had the same problem, I got a rep on chat and the best they could do was for me to purchase it and they would credit back the shipping in 3 to 5 days. So, I switched it to pickup in store to take the shipping off entirely. It says I should be able to pick them up in 5 or 6 days....

Not for metal. I bought a Craftsman set similar to these years ago, and they were made in China. I used a bit on some thin guage alumunum, and the big broke 1/2 through drilling a hole and I wasn't using too much pressure. I pulled out a smaller bit, it too broke. So I tried to close up the hinged out drill bit holder, and it wouldn't fold in. So I had a brand new set of Craftsman bits, two bits were broken and I couldn't even fold the bit case back up. I threw it in a bag and took it back and demanded my money back and I will NEVER buy craftsman drill bits again.

Well it says my drill bits and one of the other items I ordered are ready for pickup. I will try and use them this weekend. Won't be a full out review, and I will more than likely use them in my drill press....

I bought that set a few weeks ago when it was $14.

I used them last weekend to drill some holes in PVC pipe. They worked good for that purpose, I haven't drilled metal yet.

They come in a metal indexed box. The box is nice. It flips open and keeps the bits organized by size.

The main reason I bought it was because I like the nice metal box. But I think I'm only going to use these for wood, plastic, sheet metal, soft metals, etc. These can also be sharpened easily.

For 10 bucks a good deal, especially if you have points expiring and you need to burn them on a cheap item.

Well I tried them out in my drill press on wood and they worked fine. They actually ran true in my chuck. They have a relieved flute so by design I would say these are made for wood. I noticed they tended to pull themselves into the wood, I could feel this in the drill press but when using them in a hand drill I didn't feel it and they drill pretty well. Very happy with them so far.

The case is worth 10 bucks, I can get all the bits I want for free at work but have been looking everywhere for a nice metal index box like this.
