Hey guys - I'm new to the board in terms of posting but its not like I haven't browsed this forum before. I just had a 20x24 detached garage put up w 60amp subpanel, mutiple outlets, alarm, cable, internet and telephone.
Unfortunately I have mutiple spider and stress cracks in my floor which is pitched about 2 or more inches over the 20 foot span. I think the cracks are in part to my installing 2 kryptonite stronghold anchors in the concrete. I have the type that is set in new concrete, not the drill in/lag bolt type.
Mulling over the floor types I decided I would like to try a polyurea installer but I can't find one in the Long Island area. I did find something that might work from Daich called spreadstone or rollerstone but I know little about it. The local Ace Hardware store knew nothing about it as well, even though they were the only store that carried it.
I have also used UGL Drylock and saw they produced epoxy floor paint. Their paint seems great so I feel they are reputable, but this is also a product nobody seems to have any experience with.
If anyone has heard of how well the Daich or UGL products perfom please let me know. It looks like a finish similar to polyurea except it can be a DIY job. Thanks!
