Daraike Micrometer???

Anyone know anything about a Daraike Micrometer? Or the company? Picked this up last night but so far all I think I know is it might be German made. Would like to know more.
Came in this nice little wooden box.

I guess I can understand that. I based my comment on the only hit I got on search engines for DARAIKE came back with some pliers on eBay attributed to DAMON DARAIKE, Germany.

Just found two references to different tools on ETSY of all places. It's looking like Damon Raike & Co, Chicago sold tools marked Made In Germany..... Ring any bells?
