I got an old dayton 3.3 kw electric heater. It does have a schematic inside. Same as the current markel. However, has anyone wired in a thermostat on the wall to control it?
I see where the two hot legs go in. It says jumper 1 and 8 for single pole for double pole thermostat remove jumper. I get that. Then says wire stat 4 and 5. Do I send power to the unit and then wire the thermostat some other way to keep the fan running for cool down? Sorry for the mold on the schematic!
