Dayton G73 heater question

I have a Dayton G73 heater installed in my garage. It mounts in the rear corner.

It is fed by a 30 amp double circuit breaker. I have a thermostat on the wall right beside a kill switch like a light switch.

The thermostat normally clicks on and off as I turn the heat up or down. The heater worked fine yesterday.

But today the heater will not operate. I no longer hear a click on or off with the Dayton thermostat.

Any ideas what to test or any other suggestions

Thanks!!

You probably already did ... but did you check the breaker in the panel?

I have a G73; you mentioned a wall mounted thermostat. Did you remove or bypass the one in the unit? My original unit had a defective thermostat, and the wires burned off of the mounts to the thermostat. They sent me a new t-stat and it's been fine since. Might open the panel and check that.
