Densifier/sealer compatibility with tile.

I am still a little confused on the densifiers.

Just poured a 750' garage floor, power troweled smooth. I have not decided what I want to do yet, but narrowed it down to rust bullet and porcelain tile, leaning heavily towards tile.

Yesterday wife checked and added some oil to her car and left the cap off. Luckily not enough blew out to hurt the car but oil was every where on the fresh concrete when she returned.



I am still building the house and garage and it will be a year or so before I would get around to tile.

Would using an inexpensive densifiers(such as TL37) and a sealer (such as TL021) be a good solution for protecting the concrete until I get tile down or will it cause adheasive issues with the thinset?

Any other products that don't have a time consuming install and would be compatible with thinset a year or two down the road?

I used Ghostshield 8505 sealer and their 4500 densifier. I wouldn't be too concerned with the densifier but the sealer may have adhesion problems with the tile. With the 8505 I find nothing wants to stick to it. Even ice won't stick to it.

Many of our customers will use TL39 or B4 under tiles. But for oil exposure 8505 or 8510 would be better..... Because they penetrate and do not change surface texture, any of the above is fine as far as tile is concerned
