I have looked at tons of posts but cant seem to find the answers I am looking for.

A little info first
I have 400 amp service to my house with 320 amp meter (dual lugs on meter). Trenched line will be approx 90-100 ft total, and am looking to have 100 amp service to barn.

I want to run from second lugs on the meter base to a 100 amp disconnect to barn 100 amp breaker box.

Question 1. Do I need to run a ground from meter to panel or do I just need ground rods at the barn (since this is a 2nd main panel not a sub panel) can I use 3 wire or do I need a 4 wire like mhf.

Question 2. What size wire should i use? Was looking at 2-2-2 aluminum not sure if that would carry the 100ft or if i should step up the size.

Question 3. Wire from meter base to disconnect right next to each other, do I need to run a certain size wire there or can it be same size as trenched wire?

I am sure some other questions will pop up but so far this is all I can think of.
