Detailing show off section?

how about a section to show off our detailing jobs?

I don't think it is likely the site admin will create a new section for this. The best we could do is create a sticky at the top of the Free Parking forum that would be just for detailing pics. Free Parking can't be searched, but if the thread was stuck on top it would always be easy to find.

I am not saying this will happen, just that it is an option. I don't have the authority to do it unilaterally.

that would be cool. id lke to share some of my detailing writeups with everyone on here. maybe give out some tips to those that need them. =)

Well, how about this: Free Parking states that it is for us to talk about what we park in our garages i.e. vehicles. So, that would seem to be the best forum for detailing. Andrew, you can start a thread in there called "Official GJ Detailing Thread" and I will then put it in a folder for "stickies" at the top of the page. You will always be able to find a link to the thread in that stickied folder, and when the thread is updated it would rise to the top of the forum so people knew there was new content.

If this works for you, just create the thread and let me know so I can put it in the stickied folder.
