Hi
I have a 342 air pump I took off of a tank. It pumps air just fine and pressurizes the tank to 175 psi.
The rods are a little noisy. Can somebody uses this pump or should I take it to the scrap yard.
The new pump I used to replace it weights less than half of the old 342 pump. The 342 has bronze and brass fittings and a centrifugal head unloader. Nobody makes anything of this quality anymore.
If somebody wanted this for parts or wanted to put new rod bearings in it would last a very long time.
I just did not want to listen to it and I replaced the pump.
I took it off the tank this week.
I am in Portland Oregon. If somebody wanted it they would have to pay freight.
I think it weights about 250 pounds
