I have replaced the trigger valve and it still leaks at the trigger. I used lube and even tried the trick of putting tedlon tape under the o rings. is there any way to resolve this?

teflon under Orings? not a fix . not a trick, a waste of time, IMO
you have something wrong, wrong size orings or you knicked them installing them, or something else .
where at the trigger is the leak, at the shaft?
