hello all,

i've been looking over all the helpfull posts.

i am going to diamond grind my floor this weekend. but had a quick question.

with all those that complain about the dust.

Is it possible to wet the concrete before grinding the floor, thus minimizing the dust that flys in the air. I was thinking this method, just like how a wet saw works. shouldn't the water add to be abrasive and minimize dust?

just a though. let me know what you think people.

=)

the water will create a paste.

just get a shopvac with a filter meant for fine drywall dust.

I am grinding my floor next week. I rented an electric unit that has a garden hose fitting. It will cut down the dust. I was told it would require a light mopping. So one guy grinds and the other mops to control the amount of water collecting on the floor.

Zill.
