Does anyone collect old rigid pipe tools?

Hi all, I guess I'm an unintentional rigid collector. It seems that I'm always stumbling across old rigid pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, and threaders., Usually very cheap or free. Heck the only thing I think I don't have is one of those tri-stands.

I do occasional plumbing stuff, and it's nice having high end quality tools, and not have to run to home Depot to get a piece of pipe threaded.

Anyone else?

I don't collect, but I've got users; all the HD wrenches from 8" to 36" as well as a pipe cutter, vise and threading dies with handle up to 4".

Know what you mean, but I've reached that point. Just a couple of weeks ago, I passed on a 24" Ridgid for $5; only slightly rusty, in a pile of shiny red Chicom junk for $8 apiece. I know the 24" is $70 retail and it's really difficult to pass on such a buy, but what am I gonna do with another pipe wrench?

What I don't see around here are the aluminum or the offset versions. I keep my only aluminum one, a 12" in the basement shop. The heavy iron is out in the garage.

(FWIW, isn't the brand name RIDGID from the Ridge Tool Company?)

I have a Ridgid offset 14 in pipe wrench given to me as an antique many years ago and it is, by far, my most used pipe wrench.

Not much of a collector, but do have a set of three that I bought new in 1964 for a job I was starting. They come out when needed and have never been abused.
