......like me. Well, I just bought a brand new Snap-on ratcheting screwdriver, works perfectly, but today I start fooling around with the circlip just to see if the mini pliers I have will fit. Yup, the pliers fit perfectly and the cap, ball, spring and tab go flying all around. Fortunately, I am able to retrieve the parts.

Now I've never taken one of these drivers apart, but I do remember a post by Plinker sometime back where he gives a step-by-step description of the process. Well, thanks to Plinker's outstanding post, I'm able to put the whole thing back together in less than ten minutes. Even added some lube. This is step 5 in Plinker's post where he says one needs three hands.

The moral of the story is; don't be a Homer Simpson like me and thank you Plinker wherever you are. :lol_hitti

I was going to lube my new SNAP-ON screwdriver in my haste I dropped the ball. Fortunately I found all the parts and works better than new.

In any event we are all proud of you!!

You guys are "Amateurs " I lost my car in the Mall parking lot, last year. The rain was coming down the lights went out in the lot.. I'm soaked to the bone, pushing my key fob , looking for the car's headlights to blink.

Plus I wear glasses. I can't see because of the rain and it's dark. Like you we had a happy ending. I found my car, only in 20 min..
