I'm thinking it's your typical chinese made tool cart. Look closely at the picture, notice the reinforcing plate on the lid. I don't see any prybar/screwdriver storage. I see 8 bolts or screws holding the drawer unit to the legs. I don't see anything to hold the lid in an upright position. I don't think it's a great deal. Check around Ebay and the online tool vendors. Sunex makes a tool cart that is rebadged and sold by most tool trucks.
With the market flooded with poor to crappy imported tool carts, I think I would want to see and touch it before buying these days. Just my opinion.

I had the same reservations but the 100% feedback along with the shipping weight (101lbs) makes me think it is actually a solid piece. I emailed a previous buyer and got this response "I was very satisfied with it .I did check out the Craftman that is simular but price was alot higher. You do have to put it together but it only took minutes. It has good wheels with brakes over all it seems heavy duty."

I got a 20% off coupon for eBay so for $140 shipped we will see how it is. I was going to go with the Harbor Frieght tool cart for $99 plus ~$20 shipping but #1 I bought stuff from HF before and ALWAYS been disapointed and #2 just missed the $99 sale and it is back up to $169 now.

I'll give a full review when I get it and put it to work.

Looks flimsy; like it would bend with a single screw driver on top

I know it does but I'm hoping it is heavy duty like advertised. The guy has been selling them on eBay for years and has 100% feedback. Plus I visited Sears and played with their $300 tool cart which looks similar (actually it LOOKS beefier) but it was pretty flimsy. It is just a tool CART though. It isn't a box where you constantly open and close the doors and store 500lbs of tools in. It is just for bringing a few tools next to the cart and putting parts on as you take them off. I'm notorious for having a semi-circle of parts and tools around me and I get frustrated when I can't find the smaller things I'm looking for. I'm hoping a cart will help.

It is scheduled to come in tomorrow. Hopefully I can put it together before my wedding on Saturday:wtf:

Figured I'd follow up:
It arrived yesterday...in perhaps the best packaging job I have seen in my life. Seriously, you'd think this was a rare fragile statue from Egypt or something! So after about 10 minutes of unwrapping I finally got it open. Quality in person looked about the same as the pictures, but the steel is thicker than it looks. I was kinda nervous putting it together because the hardware seemed a bit on the small side (bolts and nyloc nuts).

Once it was all together though I have to say I'm happy. For the money this thing is not that bad. It does not have any mechinism to keep the top vertical when open, which is odd and unfortunate. The ball bearing drawers will hopefully loosen up because they feel more like friction sliders now. But the sturdiness is really surprising given how it looks. The wheels are perhaps the best attribute to the cart as they are solid rubber tires on ball bearing rollers. You don't get the cheap feel when you move the cart around with the soft rubber tires like you would with cheap hard plastic tires, and the wheel locks work well.

Overall I'm happy. The blue powdercoat looks great in the garage and it should do just what I need it for. Now I just need to get some work benches (any good cheaper solutions?) and get my tools from my dad's.
