Has anyone added a radius to their floor/wall edges? With a sharp edge or corner it is difficult to sweep up/blow out that last little bit of crud, but with a radius you can get it CLEAN. In the old days they used special edge tiles; you can still see them in old (1920s?) bathrooms. And I've seen it done with heavy-duty vinyl flooring too; they just run it up the wall, forming a rounded bottom edge.
I was thinking about getting some high-strength concrete, mixing it up pretty stiff, and using a length of 4" PVC pipe as a shaper to form the rounded edges. Problem is, how well would the new concrete stick to the old? Would etching help? I could etch all around the edges first, pour the radius, then etch for epoxy.
Just wondering...
Thanks!
