Do you really need 20 amp receptacles? 15 amp receptacles can be used on 20 amp circuits (as long as there are more than two, and a standard duplex receptacle counts as two.) Plus, virtually all power tools, appliances, etc. come with 15 amp plugs so you don't gain anything.

I always use full 20A outlets if they're on a 20A breaker...no...most plugs don't need it, but I figure why not, that extra slot isn't hurting anything. In the same way I always run a neutral wire and use a 4 pole outlet for 240v so I can tap 120 later if I want...

pretty much no. The guts in them are the same, a 20a is no more robust than a 15a of the same series.

My entire shop and home is equipped with Hospital Grade,(green dot) wife hates them but nothing falls out, yea my boss paid for them. These had to be checked annually for tension in the field, cant have life support going away in the middle of the night.
100% brass, 28lbs tension to remove device. ground is both trhu mounting lug and a seperate screw lug.
