I would like to buy a electric plug strip to mount on the wall over my work area. I am moving my tool boxes around and the wall plug in is going to be behind a tool box and pretty much unavailable. What I am looking for is a good quality strip that can be screwed to the wall with a short cord that will plug into the wall fixture that will soon be behind my stack on tool box. It doesn't need to have a whole lot of plugins but I would like it to be well made and able to be mounted to the wall.

Anyone have a recomedation?

I bought 6' plug strips from Harbor Freight and mounted them on my benches. They have multiple outlets, a cord, and an on/off rocker switch which is lit when on.

Wiremold plug strip like this. Home Depot sells them.

Fry's electronics carries some very inexpensive 3 or 4 footers. I've used them in several places. I don't run my heavy tools off of it though.

The wiremold stips are commercial grade and will work great.

This is one of those things where you 'get what you paid for' up to a certain point, and then it's ridiculous (computer rack mount, server stuff.)
