I'm installing an A/C with heat in my shop. I think I understand the electrical connections but would appreciate any confirmation.
I found some instructions for a "like" system online. The instructions give two different means of connection; a single power source or multi power source. For the single power, it calls for a 90amp breaker and #3 wire. For multi power source it call for a 60 & 40 amp breaker with #8 and #6 wire. All of this is 240 single phase.
I think the system is already setup for the multi source power (see picture)
So, my plan is to run two circuits to the breakers on the handler, of course the breaker box will have breakers to protect the circuit from the breaker box to the a/c handler. This does not include the circuit required for the outside condenser.
Thoughts??
