Epoxy curing and recoat time?

Read a little about epoxy needing 55F or above to cure. They got one coat down but the weather turned cold and wet so it has been a couple days. Temp inside is heated and 65. I will check again but after about 36 hours it was still fairly "plastic" - it wasn't tacky on the surface but was soft. What's going on? I also saw something about recoat time. So apparently the surface needs some sort of prep before another coat. What prep is needed?

Epoxy at 55 deg can take longer to fully cure but it the temp in the space is at 65 you should be ok.

Check with your supplier as to their recoat window times and such as each manufacturer has their own recommendations. For example we say after 48 hours light re-rep is requred.
