Have tried doing research on here to find an answer but so far I can't seem to find the info I'm looking for...
First question is whether or not the 18" rail is measured as the overall length (including the hanger), or if 18" means the actual rail where the clips slide is 18"?
Second question is, should I go for the magnetic ones or just the standard rails. Whatever I get will be sitting in a tool box and I'm not the type to take out the whole rail and carry it with me to the car. My concern with the standard rail is if I go to remove a socket will it pull the rest of the rail with it? I don't want to have to hold the rail down as I go to grab a socket. Also will the standard rails stay put and upright in the drawer?
