You can change some of the forum display options to make the site faster for you.
Go to:
PROFILE -> EDIT OPTIONS -> Look under THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS
You can disable signatures, avatars and images which should help a bit in your loading speed.
Also, try switching your style to BASIC on the tab at the bottom left. I left out the banners and other graphics from this style to allow faster loading time for you guys.
