External torx plus fasteners?

Someone gave me a set of external torx plus sockets. But I have never seen such a fastener yet. Instead of waiting for the eventual encounter, I d rather get a few to play with. So I am wondering where to get them. Don't want to spend a lot of money though. Thanks for the help!

BTW, I watched some YouTube videos. They say these e torx plus sockets work on other fasteners like hex bolts. Is that true? Any other way to use them?

I think I needed some for a newer ford or chevy truck seat bolts. Thats the only time I remember seeing them.

IIRC, I've seen them on car seat mounts. I had to fight under the seats of a GM pickup recently, and I'm pretty sure that's what held them down.

A few years ago, I saw somewhere that Jeep Wrangler upper bell housing bolts were external Torx. I picked up a set of sockets for an upcoming clutch job. Clutch day arrives, and the upper bell housing bolts were regular hex-head bolts!

I figure the Torx sockets might come in useful sometime in the future.................still waiting!
