Fan for 9ft ceiling?

Hi all,

Looking to put a fan in my 20x20 garage with 9 ft ceilings. Could anyone tell me what would work, i only want to put on fan in and what i am looking at is an idustrial fan but it would hang down to 7 ft from floor. Look at a shorter downrod or a different kind of fan? Thanks.

No just get a smaller fan for bedroom around 54”. They already have the short distance from the ceiling. It will be enough or you can always add another for a garage that size.

Whatever is on sale at the home center will work. They sell all lengths of downrods there too.

I was looking at fans awhile back and found that there are guidelines/suggested downrod lengths. Google or check this site http://www.fanshoppe.com/how-to-select-a-ceiling-fan-downrod/

AHome Depot ..?..$54 fan will do ya good.
