Hi Folks.
Looking for some electrical comments.
I am considering a new basement bathroom reno. I'd like to install a 30 amp pony panel from the garage sub-panel.
Attahced is rough diagram of what I'm considering doing.

Existing electrical details:
200 amp service at main panel;
Main panel is in the FINISHED portion of the basement and supplies entire house;
There is also a 60 amp breaker in main panel with #6 awg feeding a new 125 amp sub-panel in my attached garage (~25 ft away);
The 125 amp sub-panel in garage only has 8 circuits in use (garage lights, ceiling fans, receptacles and a future dayton G73 electric heater).

My plan:
Put a 30 amp breaker in the garage sub-panel;
Run #10 awg to a 30 amp pony panel in the basement utility room that is ~85 ft away;
Feed my new bathroom from the 30 pony panel.

This saves me running all my circuit wiring 85 ft back to the garage.

Am I on the right path or out in left field here? :shocking:
Please recommend solutions if you have them.
Check out my diagram attached.
Tks folks!
Fergie
