I am about reuse an existing house slab. The house was never built. The slab was poured in 1994. Aside from superficial cracks and some staining over time, the slab is in good condition and I intend to use it as an outdoor patio area. I want to dress it up as it is just dull gray and black stains and was interested in these stained/acid washes to turn it a nicer reddish color and seal the cracks. How do such treatments hold up in the weather? This is in North Texas where we see many days of hot 100+deg days and occasional snow and ice in winter. I was hoping there was something I could DIY?
