Hey all, I just joined the forum as I am in the clean up phase of my log garage. I plan to epoxy the floor or a suitable coating when its clean and new ceiling in. My question or looking for guidance really is, the pad was poured in 1997, only ever had one coat of sealer (tompsons or quickcreete type) on it when new. There is some cracks from settling though not major and no heaving ,as its a floating pad and some pitting from salt off parked vehicles. I use my garage for mechanic work and repairs along with any home projects I may have and park vehicles in it when no projects going. Id like something non slip when wet, or as non slip as can be. It will see chemicals like gasoline, diesel, and brake clean, typical shop stuff. I will be doing the prep and coating myself with some help. So anyone recoment brands or procedure? I dont think I have access to any way to grind as I am hours from any company or place that has a rental machine. I hope etching and i am good. I have done a bit of reading through some threads and looks like stay away from epoxytech. I am on other forums for my other interests and love spending my money with supporting vendors. Sooo Guidance fellas? Thanks for any input!
