Floating neutral generator to house

Hi everyone.

I've been reading multiple opinions on this and was hoping to get something definitive.

I bought and installed an interlock kit on my main panel and connected a separate 30A breaker to an inlet box for a generator.

My portable generator has a floating neutral.

For the purposes of (extra?) grounding, is there anything I need to do other than plug my generator in once Interlock & main breakers are swapped? Any issues with grounding or neutrals?

You didnt specify generator size and voltage, number of wires in cord, etc

But the generator needs to have a floting neutral because neutral is already bonded in main service panel.

Honda EU2200i for now. 3-wire to 4-wire cord to light up both hots in panel. I'm aware of the manual intervention for 220V circuits and the like.

Do you have any multiwire circuits sharing a neutral?

Yep, unfortunately. It's only a 2200/1800W generator, but I will have to be careful. I assume as long as I manage the load I'll be okay? The combined outlets are never used together.
