Floor leveler - can I sand it?

I am trying to level 150 sq ft in my basement using a leveling product similar to ardex feather finish (portland cement based).

Can this stuff be sanded if needed? I had to trowels some areas and need to get rid of the ridges. Also, some “pimples” have shown up.

Should I try a drywall pole sander with screen sand paper?

Depending on how hard the product sets up. A good rub brick can be used to knock down imperfections.

Nooooo....don't use a rubbing brick! That will scar your floor...unless you are covering it with another flooring product, ie, wood or tile. If not and you want a finished look, you can use a square buff sander for large spaces or palm sander for small areas. The longer you wait the more aggressive grit you'll need. This will make it more porous but since your work is shabby it's a trade off.
