Appreciate all the help that this forum has provided as I've begun planning for my garage epoxy project.
I have a 20x21 garage whose slab which was poured sometime around 2017. I am planning on an Armorclad two-part epoxy floor with primer. I believe the concrete is sealed, so will be degreasing and grinding the floor prior to application. My question is regarding the floor to wall transition. The slab is below grade on one side which has a cinder block wall. I have removed the caulk which lined the wall/floor joint and am planning on epoxying to the wall and using Silkaflex self-leveling sealant after the epoxy has cured appropriately. On the two other sides, there are concrete buildups that are edges of the raised slab for the sealed concrete floor of the adjacent finished basement. The quality of this concrete is a bit questionable and there seems to be a seam between the garage floor and the wall there. Ideally, I'd like the epoxy to coat that short section of vertical concrete.
My questions is: given that there seems to be a seam at this transition, and the quality of the concrete is a bit suspect - should I avoid applying my epoxy to the small section of vertical wall? I've attached pictures for reference.
Again, appreciate all the help.
