I'd like to install a new lift pump and some better two micron filters. This engine block mounted filter is a pain to get to. I'd like to buy a fleece powerflo and then i already have the filter head that you would mount on the frame. I will leave the block mounted filter in place, then just never bother to change it and only change the two on the frame. My question is if I have a injector or cp3 pump failure, they won't have to replace all the lift pump if its new will they? They can just flush all the lines out and of course all new filters, right? Opinions? Block mounted filter pictured just for giggles, and before you tell me its too dirty it always looks like that. Gets change about every 500hrs. Vehicle is a 2007.5 6.7 cummins 2500 dodge pickup. 12,000hrs and 243,000 miles original cp3, lift pump and fuel injectors
