I came here from the HAMB. I'm into building hot rods, bikes, whatever.
I grew up as a millwright, fabricator, and machinist. Spent many a day making parts for industry.
Metalworking is particularly interesting to me. I have my own lathe, mill, ironworker, a good sized old mechanical shear (cuts 4' of 10 ga), vertical bandsaw, horizontal bandsaw, welding machines (TIG, MIG, stick), etc.
I have a pretty large shop (4500 SF footprint) with a loft and shop area back home but I intend to sell it and build a new one, so this seems like the place to learn some new stuff. Glad to sit back and learn and hopefully can give some good advice as well.
