Another "gem" in an auction box that I do not know what it is. The seller mentioned "bale hook", but I have only seen bale hooks have 1 (and every so often 2) tines. This is about 14 inches long and the handle is 3 1/2 inches wide.

THANKS, GJ has been AWESOME in helping me determine what things are.

GJ Member shavehook just PM'ed me the answer. It is a nail rake, or nail claw, used in a hardware store to draw nails from a bulk bin.

THNAKS shvehook!!

That sounds right. The old hardware store down the street from my house used to sell nails by the pound, and had one of those for raking the nails out of the bin.
