What if free parking was not searchable and non of the threads came up in the "new posts". That would shut down a lot of the recurring madness that is free parking. Can that be done?

At one time, it was not searchable.

There is actually good content in there, which people might legitimately want to find. But yes, there is ****, too.

Free Parking is the place where people push the envelope or pretend to be Thunder Dome Warriors. But, it's also the place that we use to raise money to send a sick little kid to Disney and where we have done other charitable acts, talked about projects and off-topic tech etc.

When it stinks, it stinks, but there are roses in that fertilizer.

FP recently had new rules so anything that gets out of hand can and will be dealt with.

I wish everyone would lean towards civility online and in real life, rather than allowing the inner ape to come out in certain venues.

They must feel accountable for what they say when you can lean over and grab them if they get out of line.

if a forum is going to have a place like free parking, it's going to draw the extreme posts. i like them contained, makes it easy to ignore when you want to
