Hi I have been following the forum for a while and deceided to make my first post. I am considering adding on to my current garage. A little background on what I now have. It is 12x24 on a 5 inch thick slab. It has 2x4 walls that are insulated with 7/16 Osb walls. I want to pour another pad 10x24 next to the one thats there now, and enclose it also.I want to remove the Gambel roof thats there and add 5 foot on top of the walls. On the new slab I want to make 12 foot Walls and top it off with 24 foot 4/12 trusses. This way i will have a 24x24 garage with a 12 foot height so I can install a lift. I will keep about 4 foot front and rear of the center wall and onpen up the middle. I will also add a double header when I remove the center wall. Hopefully this will work.

Go man go! Add all the space you can afford at the very start, would be my first advice. Maybe move this thread to the garage gallery once you get rolling on the project too. Good luck!
