Hello all,

Thank you for all the posts and information. I have a 22x24 detached garage with 10’ ceilings. I’ve insulated and sheet rocked the walls and ceiling already. I just installed a mini split, diy, and am in the process of insulating the door.

After reading posts I’ve installed the green springs and am now installing new DGSL weatherstripping for the bottom, outside weather stripping, and preselect mat3 foam board type for the door itself.

I still see a small gap between the outside of the garage door and the door opening itself. Is there a weather stripping I should use or having it close is good enough as too tight will cause too much drag?

Thank you for the help!

This stuff is inexpensive. All 3 of my overhead doors have this.

This stuff in longer length I used on mom's barn on the sliding doors to help stop the snow from blowing in.
