My garage is pretty plain compared to many here, mine wasn't a major overhaul. I had a lot of the electronics in place, I just needed a floor that was waterproof, quiet, easy to clean, warmer in winter and easy to squeegee the water out in winter. If I could do it without major prep time so much the better.

After looking at pretty much everything and lurking here for months reading everything I could, I settled on TuffSeal flooring. It met all the criteria I was looking for, cost was the biggest drawback, but as they say , you get what you pay for.

I have a shed out back that handles all the rakes, weed whackers, shovels, ladders, etc. so I can keep the garage pretty clean.

It's a nice area to hang out in, watch a game or listen to some music while I'm working on or detailing one of the cars. Directv provides football games, and whatever else is on. I have an Apple Cube circa 1990 that provides internet access (it's great to have access to repair manuals on line in the garage), as well as being the music server.

An external NuForce digital audio converter feeds a late 1970's Marantz 2252B receiver (52WPC) with Klipsch KG2.2's in the cabinets below the work bench (cloth inserts were added to the cabinet doors so they can stay closed). The other speakers are Solid Monitors (B&W) that are on either side of the garage door opening.

The fridge holds all the liquid refreshment needed for any occasion.

Mastercraft tool chest holds all the tools, now I just need to work on upgrading the lighting, but that might be next year . . .

I like your taste in stereo equipment! I've got a Marantz 2270 with Klipsch Forte's upstairs and a 60's Scott 222D with Klipsch Heresy's in the shop.

Nice set up Rickenbackerman! - I wish I had room in the garage for Heresy's or Forte's. My inside system is a Pioneer SA9500II integrated amp, Pioneer TX9800 tuner and Klipsch Chorus.

MajorLee - the shed makes the clean garage possible, no doubt about it. All the yard **** goes in there and I can keep the garage pretty clean - not as clean as pictured, that was when I got everything back in after finishing the floor.
