I will be getting ready to close in my walls in the next few months and I have always been planning on going with GWB. I have no issues with installing GWB as I have experience. But, GWB does damage easily. Also, having a complete wood (or similar material) for the wall allows attaching of... well, anything, easily. My shop, which is attached to the garage, has OSB for walls. Now, the shop has all my wood working tools, and other messy stuff in it. The garage will mainly be a place to sit and just look at my cars, hang signs, and store camping gear and myself when in trouble. Will have computer, internet, etc. So, I guess I am asking, has anyone regretted going with GWB? Or, if you decided to go with OSB or similar, did anyone regret that decision? Or, if you went with OSB or similar, how did it end up looking? The seams in my shop are not pretty... Any opinions would be appreciated!

I went with OSB 4' up from the floor and then 5/8" drywall for the rest. IMO most of the damage will occur at 4' or lower.
