Garage wall paint color

I'm in the process of sprucing up my two-car oversize garage. The interior is drywall that's never been painted. One long wall is lined with unfinished fiberboard storage cabinets with full doors, floor to soffit. The wall at the front also has a fiberboard hanging storage unit. The third wall is bare.

I'm looking for opinions on paint color for the drywall as well as for the storage cabs.

Elsewhere, I've seen advice to stay away from plain white, since it will show dirt the most. But, I don't want a dark garage, either. Anyone out there with a decorator's touch with some interesting, but not too wild, ideas?

I used WHITE Primer/Sealer after putting up my drywall and it convinced me to go with white or light colored topcoat. It is nice an bright in the garage now.

Although at some point, I may add a stripe around the garage and go with a darker color(gray) on the bottom 3 feet of the walls.

My garage too, is gray/white (both gloss). Done a million times and for good reason. The gray hides minor scuffs/dirt that occurres in a working garage, the white reflects the light to make the area appear brighter. I cut mine with a black stripe because I prefer neutral colors, I've seen it cut with many other colors and they all look nice. My place......
