I'm building a gas powered (13 hp) air compressor, looking for around 12-15 CFM at 150 psi. Since this will be a trailer mounted portable, the difficult part will be cooling the air before it goes into the tank to reduce the water condensation. The trailer is about 6' x 10'. The tank will fit on one side and the blaster on the other. I figured to run some pipe around the frame for additional cooling and to retain pressure. The gas motor and the compressor head will be mounted on top of an 80 gallon tank. Will a static radiator be sufficient or will a fan across it be necessary? I intend to put some after tank filters before using an Eastwood Dual Blaster for soda and sand blasting to clean boat bottoms and trailers. I'll probably also use it for painting. Any suggestions on whose filters might be the best for this app? The blaster came with a filter/regulator, but I plan to put another one at the tank. Between the cooling and an extra filter, I hope to have enough dry air not to clog the blaster. Thanx for the help.
