GE breaker type

I’m adding some fuses to my breaker panel and having a hard time finding the breakers to match. I found some that fit the panel but they are 2x as thick as what’s there. Unfortunately the writing on the ones there is too faded to read!

What does your panel label say?

Those do not look like the older style GE breakers which have a sqaure dimple in them.

They look like GE THQP aka Q-line breakers. Those are like mine and that is what is on them. You can look at the small print with a magnifying glass and it will tell you what they are. If they are Q-line (THQP) Home Depot carries them, at least here they do. They have ones certified for my 1979 GE 125 amp service panel in both 1/2" and 1". They also have GFCI breakers and Arc flash, GFCI breakers but they are 1" wide.

Although the pic posted doesn't provide the ability to read the cb labels on the front of the cb, I'm sure you can read the text. Provide a better pic of that text please.

Also provide a pic of the panel label - where it lists the panel specifications and listed accessories and the types/# of cb's permitted in each space.

Thanks everyone these are in fact q line breakers available at Home Depot. Unfortunately I was steered in the wrong direction by an associate originally who said they didn’t carry them.

That’s why when I see folks struggling in the electrical isle, i....retired electrician.....always ask if I can help. The sales associate may not really know.
