Generator pole shoe removal tool.

Another piece from my auction haul yesterday. Generator or starter case gets hung on the round shaft, drag link socket goes on the square drive, big screw forces the socket into the screw head, preventing it from slipping out. Really heavily constructed, Loooks like factory built, but no markings on it, and I found nothing like it on Google.
Anyone know anything about it?

I used a similar one when I worked at the rebuilders . as you say it's for aiding in removing field screws .
