Generator - pull behind mower

Merry Christmas everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has fabricated or purchased (would rather make myself) brackets where I could pull my portable 10000w generator (quite large) with wheels behind my lawn mower, it is quite heavy for my wife and children in case I am not home if the power is to go out.

Will it fit on one of those 4 wheel, expanded metal wagons?
Then you could maneuver it into a tight parking space, but still be able to drop the handle loop over a trailer ball on the tractor.

Here is the pic of my generator

I have a very similar setup with my Diesel Gen Set and you wheel it round like a wheel barrow.

Not to hard to move about if you keep it close to where you need it most.

Just by changing the length of handles and adding pneumatic tires like from a wheelbarrow will make a world of difference

Rather than putting it on top of a cart, I'd keep it closer to the ground by using the existing axle. Changing out the wheels like 188slo50 suggested would be pretty simple if you need to do that.

If you still want to modify the handles to pull it with a lawn tractor, there's a pretty simple dual-purpose handle on one of those green garden carts from the big box stores. It would be pretty easy to fabricate:

a small a frame that hooks under the front rail with hooks to catch on the top bar and better wheels would do the trick

Well I decided not to pull generator on "garden cart", I fabricated an attachment (see pics)

Now that works well. Nicely done.

make sure it sits fairly level or have them unhook and block it, so the oil is right in the engine.
