Picked up a nice snap-on box today. Think it's a master series, 54x29x46 inches. Weighs about 500 to 600 pounds; I went across a scale for interest on the way home to check.

I'd say from the configuration that it's a 1002 or 7002; but it has 15 drawers. I didn't worry too much about the exact model, just verified the dimensions and bought it because the price was under $1000. Had to go about 250 miles to pick it up, but worth it for the price.

Anybody have a positive identification on it? I can't take the drawers out to check as it's in my pickup, face up, and I won't get it out for a day or two. Had to use a hydraulic cherry picker to load it.

Here's a picture.

I don't know either, but I would have to say the large drawer got deleted and smaller drawers were added, also the third wheel option? FYI- If you take out lower left drawer there should be a sticker on the bottom besides the one on the back.

BTW, you ****!

Looks like a KR1000, look for a stamping in the back in one of the upper corners to verify. I like the drawer layout, enjoy it!

You guys nailed it. Got it unloaded, cleaned up and took the drawer out. KRL1001BPCM

I'm going to really like this box. The extra length (depth) on the drawers should make it so I can get all the SAE Combo wrenches in one drawer, the Metric Combo's in another, and the Sockets all in one or two drawers. It will hold a lot more per drawer than my 42" cabinet, that's only 18" length (depth).

That's a nice box, they really hold the junk. I've had mine for 17 or so years. Here it is under a 1201A top chest and side lockers.

This thing was a beast to handle and unload. I put it in the back of my pickup with canopy on, it fills the entire bed of my short box truck. Used a hydraulic hoist to both unload and load, takes some manipulation to tip it up from back to casters.

Nice I've got a krl1001 too. Looking for a used locker as its pointless to put fresh paint next to it. uploadfromtaptalk1474161661663.jpg

Lol, it's a beast to handle because they are a beast. The current version of that box, the KRL1022 weighs 632 pounds and has a 6800 pound load capacity. Here's my bottom drawer loaded with clamps, chain, bushing, bearing, race and press adaptors, engine/transmission lift adaptors, clutch tools and of course......me. :D

Well, the wide drawers are big enough for wrenches at least. May not be enough to hold them all, but at least they fit:

Definitely a KRL1001 but someone has swapped the bottom big drawer on the lower left for 2 to match the height of the drawers on the right side. I have a KRL1001 in Yellow w/ Black Trim. If you are interested, double bank Masters Series Snap On boxes are all roughly 54" wide. The KRL1001 was the tallest and deepest of the KRL Line. It is basically the predecessor to the current KRL1022 which offers a full width drawer on top that is 5" deep instead of 4" and a second full width drawer that is 3" deep.
