Got some new to me Knipex

I love my Knipex stuff, and today, my local Menards was having a huge "Store Closing" sale, 40% off, plus 11% rebate. Here's what I picked up for $20.00 after discounts. Got a pair of 9" lineman's pliers, regular $$39.00.

Menards store closing sale???

Menards store closing sale???

In 2 weeks (July 8, 2016) the store is closing, going to be torn down and a new "Super Menards" is being built at the same location. They say it will take 9 mo. until the new store opens. Menard's purchased additional land and even a road for the expansion.

I have a pair of those too. They are very nice and well made. I didn't get as good a deal as you though! Good cutter and smooth joint. I have also wondered about the origins of the New England style of Linemans pliers. What other styles of Linemans pliers/side cutters are there?

I have gotten the pleasure of several "store closing" sales in my area to move to a bigger store. When they hit 40% off it gets awesome.
